On October 10, Jennifer Stanley will be presenting a one-hour CE entitled “Gag Clause Prohibition Compliance & Litigation Update.” We hope you can join us.
Everyone’s talking about it! But does it seem that carriers and TPA are talking out of both sides of their mouth? Or are they saying one thing and then going radio silent when a follow up request is made? Interesting, yes?
During the 1-hour CE presentation, Gag Clause Prohibition Compliance and Litigation Update, Jennifer Stanley, Esq, founder of StanleyKup Compliance, is not going to tell you how to attest. She’s going to tell you what to do instead of attesting. She will bolster her position by giving litigation updates that speak volumes.

Jennifer Stanley of StanleyKup Compliance Consulting, LLC uses her experience, perspective, and knowledge to educate employers, brokers, and other service providers in the complicated area of employee benefits law. Jennifer graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2013, earning a Certificate in Health Law and is a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, the Texas Bar and the American Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and holds a Texas General Lines – Life, Accident, Health, and HMO License.
Her ability to read legislation, rules, and regulations coupled with her approach in explaining the same in easy-to-understand, practical, and action-oriented takeaways make her a go-to expert for employee benefits compliance matters.
Jennifer’s employer and broker advocacy in the industry is a direct result of her local, state, and national volunteer service in the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP, formerly NAHU). She is in her second year on the NABIP Legislative Council, her eighth year on the NABIP-Texas Legislative Council and is serving her second term as NABIP-Dallas President. She participates in policy discussions, offers commentary for responses to requests for comment, serves on the NABIP Major Health Policy Working Group for Prescription Drugs and the Employer Working Group for Quality and Price, and always asks at least one question regardless of the venue. Her inquisitive nature, intellect, and integrity is a force in itself.
She is a founding member of and Director of Compliance for BABD Data Services, LLC. BABD Data Services is a broker- and employer-friendly service provider for RxDC reporting and transparency oversight. More than just checking a “compliance box,” BABD Data Services’ mission is to reframe transparency regulations, viewing them not as a burden but as a tool to bring about true transformation.
Before law school and following her graduation from Texas A&M University (Class of ’04 Whoop!), Jennifer conducted Phase 3 clinical research trials at the Cooper Institute of Dallas, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for Depression, and the Liver Institute at Methodist Dallas.
