On April 12, Carla Adams will be presenting a one-hour ethics CE entitled “Ethics in a Virtual World.” This Ethics CE looks at some of the unique ethical challenges involved with a virtual office environment and how to implement best practices to protect your business and your clients.

Despite a cool start to Spring Break week the weather seems to be turning and beautiful days are upon us.  It is time to recharge, perhaps spend time with loved ones or do some Spring cleaning. The Lone Star Board is working on our programs for the rest of the year.  We have heard from a few members as to what they would like to see, and input is being used to develop our schedule.

On February 8, Gentry Lynn with Healthcare Bluebook will present a one-hour CE entitled “Price Transparency Regulation: Clear as Mud.” Healthcare price transparency provides several opportunities, and we’ll discuss what this means for brokers, carriers, TPAs, and employers.

On November 9, we’re offering our first on-demand course: “Introduction to Health Savings Accounts.” The CE class, sponsored and presented by Ameriflex, is being offered at NO CHARGE for those who sign up tor our short membership meeting that day. After a brief update from the Lone Star chapter, Tiffany Jones with Ameriflex will provide all the details about how this will work.
