Angela Theesfeld has 22 years of group insurance experience, including time spent with two major health insurance carriers in account management and sales roles. Originally from Illinois her positions sent her to spend five years in Chattanooga, TN before arriving in Texas in 2006.
In 2012 she was awarded the Pinnacle Sales award for Top Specialty Sales. In 2019 she was awarded the Underwriter of the Year by the San Antonio Association of Health Underwriters. She was honored with the SAAHU Dave Clark Lifetime Achievement award in 2021 as well. She has earned the Small Group Specialist designation and the NAHU Self-Funded Certification. She has served as the President of the San Antonio Association of Health Underwriters from 2016-2018. Angela has also led the Texas Association of Health Underwriter’s legislative council, as the Director of Legislation since 2018. She joined Davidson Camp Insurance Services as a broker in 2018, becoming a partner in 2021.
She and her husband Jacob are parents to one child named Benjamin and two furry children named Duncan and Murphy.
Carla Adams is an experienced benefits professional, with a passion for compliance and innovative benefits strategy. Carla served as a benefits broker for more than a decade prior to moving to a third-party administrator in service to brokers across the state of Texas. Currently serving as the Director of Benefit Services for isolved, an award-winning provider of human capital management, compliance and benefits services. In her role with isolved, she continues her efforts to bring best-in-class compliance and benefit solutions to the broker community.
Carla is a proud supporter of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), as a member she has served in numerous positions at the local, state and national level. She served two terms as President for the San Antonio chapter, and has served on the national legislative counsel and working groups. Currently she services as the Director of Federal Legislation for Texas Association of Health Underwriters.
In 2019 NAHU honored Carla with the William G. Wetzel Excellence in Public Speaking award for her efforts to keep the broker community informed on complex benefits related issues.
On a personal note, Carla has been married to her husband for 26 years and they have three children and two fur-babies that may be more spoiled than the children.
Mike Smith entered the insurance business in 1993 as a marketing and agent service representative at The Brokerage Inc. He is now the President of The Brokerage, an insurance marketing organization licensed in all 50 states.
The Brokerage specializes in life, health, financial, senior insurance products and marketing services. Smith is responsible for The Brokerage’s marketing strategy, operations, sales support, web site development, public relations, and business development.
Currently Mike and his wife Shannon have three children, Kayli, age 24, Kyle, age 22, and Kinley, age 13.
